life it is...

Its amazing how answers to the most complex things sometimes unravel so easily that it gets you thinking deep down so hard that it had all been so simple all the time and 'lord knows what i was thinking'or perhaps it is the circumstances that plays a major role in the changes that your heart gladly accepts.

Two of the most simple answers to what i always thought to be a complex situation came with two of the most simple scenarios that i never had imagined
As i sat in the cab early morning to catch my flight to Poona ,bidding adieu to Delhi with a heavy heart, halfway through and the tyre gets punctured .the cab driver tells me its a five minutes job and we are set to go go but somehow the five minutes become 15 minutes and the drivers futile try again and again prompts me to change the cab coz i definitely have a deadline. the problem arises when there is no cab around and time is fleeing......and the residents of Delhi will understand that booking another cab and for it to reach the exact location would surely take no less than 15 mins.
As i stood helplessly waiting for passerby cabs ,the driver calls me with a beaming face and swollen hands that it has been fixed and i hop back into the car......thereafter , he swishes the car and on the way as we engage in small talks he tells me "madam....problem to hogi na, life hai".
While i pondered on this simple fact spoken by him again and again , i could not help but nod in total agreement as to hell with we are all mortal beings no matter how superior we may have been with our accomplishments and achievements, it is not in our hands to control everything the way we want.
Sometimes, things happen whether we like it or not and all we can do is to accept it and learn to let go.
many times unpredictable and unimaginable things tend to occur . we definitely cannot undo the things that has been already done and all that remains further is how well can we handle such crises and emerge out unaffected, stronger and with a lesson well learnt.

It's rather ironic that sometimes a simple line spoken by a cab driver teaches us one of the important lessons in life when all our life we have been resorting to lessons of life from great visionaries and thinkers .
in my case maybe it was the dire situations i had been going through for quite a time and when the wise words from the driver came out at the right time, it surely instilled some peace within myself.............

the other lesson learnt would be a tad bit long to continue here so ill make it in the next post
xx
