little darkness perhaps!

I need a little something to get myself going
perhaps a little darkness sometimes,
or maybe a dose of a happy pill at other times
for the heart needs its clamor of ups and downs
drenched on its need to feel that its up and alive

i love me more than i love you

If you hear me compliment you
Do not flatter yourself
The reason I do so is
That it makes me feel good about myself
One of the best ways of self gratification
Truly comes from appreciating others
Try it and you will know it

songs of the cacophonies of my heart

Theres nothing as beautiful as your heart escalating in full beam
Even if it is for a while,
for moments like these are only likely to last for a while.
And if you haven’t found those moments , seek for it.

seek hard for it, take chances, even if you know
that you're heart is likely to be broken
For the best part is the part ,where you felt that feeling
and that is perhaps the best thing anyone can achieve.

Seek those moments that make your heart flutter with highs and lows
Open yourself to the vulnerabilities, for in these moments,
you are most honest to yourself
And if your heart gets shattered to million pieces ,
grieve and suffer and understand
and one day will come out it or perhaps not
but  you will definitely realise that you have truly lived
the various sunbeams and moonbeams of life.

You will also realise that  you are one of the blessed fortunate people
to have felt the way that many in their lifetime do not get to feel.
Sing and dance and write and put your make up on
or whatever that tickles  your high

Do not feel scared to expose yourself
to the tumults of the screeches of your heart
For they will guide your way to the unforeseen
and you will discover surprises within yourself
You are beautiful in so many aspects that you cannot fanthom

love addict

My sister from another mother
You do not want someone to wrap your tired bones around at night
Although you’re convinced at many times that it is exactly what you want

Do not let your mind to lull you around
into building safe pickets of fences around you.
Although at many times that may seem like a viable option.

Remember you are like those wild mulberry bushes
Gnawing out thorns in wilderness
while producing sweet berry juices
That so perfectly harmonise with each other.

You have been lucky enough to discover the beauty of  despair in life
Hence you are not scared to get scarred or keep the void alive
For you understand it is the journey and not the destination.

You sweet little poison, you want to live it all and live all the facets of life.
Unapologetically immersed in love and passion
as red as the shimmering rubies.
Keep going you little violet capped nymph, you sure the hell deserve it
For it is one lifetime that you get with an array of uncertainties
And the banality of being a human allows you to soak
as much as your fluttering heart can.

love forgotten

I once knew a man
who happened to kiss me so deep
kissed me with such vigour and passion
that my lips got swollen like cherry plum.
The way he locked his lips onto mine
send shudders down my body.
and in that moment i could feel our bodies
share the electrifying energy
transferring into one other
making me want it more and more.
but then reality dawned!
kisses were turned into misses
and the nature of misses is to diminsh
so we diminished like ashes of coal
settling into places unknown and cities unforgiving!

summer romance

it was the absence of you
that multiplied my love for you
in thousand manifolds.

it was those sweet lies
mixed  with your sweet gestures
that vouched my love for you
time and again'

it was the way you made me feel'
even if it was for a brief while
that could last for a million miles.

it was the memory you bequeathed
that would linger with me
and bring out the best in me.

it was the absence of your presence
that made  my heart grow fonder
for a love that was once so pure

After Dark

As another day beleaguers to an end,
slowly and steadily darkness dissipates
darkness like these
that vanquish one after the other
leaving very few mortals to hazily solemn by
hours of midnight clock, ticking by...

The ones who have build a safe harbour for themselves
slouched under the comforts of their hardwork
probably taking a midnight express to dreamland.
Whereas the other lots trying hard to make comforts of their life
catering to the night , as darkness swings by.

In the midst of these nights, if you close your eyes
Holding a minute to grasp by
you can feel, hear and see a million rancour that goes by.

Fulcrum of energy somewhere vandalising the fountain of youth,
drained energy somewhere muffled by the exhaustion of body and mind.
And looming behind are the lonely, petrified souls making their way
screeching their songs in darkness in order to be heard.

minimalism

Zadie Smith in her famous essay collection titled 'Feel Free'' wrote the following lines on the nature of human conditioning: People who believe in fundamental and irreversible changes in human nature are themselves ahistorical and naive, if novelists knew anything  its that individual citizens are internally plural: they have within them the full range of behavioural possibilities, they are like complex musical scores from which certain melodies can be teased out and others ignored or suppressed , depending, at least in part, on who is doing the conditioning,

I love a white decor and a white flowy  dress just like I love any other neutrals of white. Recently I grappled with the question of white being my favourite colour as everyone I know loves my favour-ism for whites /neutrals and they have seemingly categorised me into a white lover as naturally  as possible due to my seemingly over the top white possessions .
So, when a  friend asked me recently about my favourite colour, a lot of colours swarmed into my head , each with its own beauty but I finally did settle with white. As per her curiosity , she went on further questioningly saying if white was really my favourite colour or is just in my mind that is conditioned to believe that white is my favourite colour syncing myself to the norm and culture of the existing white ling/minimalist/basic phenomenon that is pretty much prevalent everywhere.
I juxtaposed for a minute at her observation and questioned myself until it began to slightly occur to me that there is a very thin line between my innermost favouritism for colour or my socially conditioned favouritism for colour. It all began to hazily yet clearly make  sense that there is no existence of a mind wherein it cannot be conditioned even the pettiest of petty things.
Take for example; right from the moment we begin off as fetuses and are born into this world we are genetically imbibed with a certain appease of things which pretty much marks down certain choices of our lives if not everything.
Furthermore, with social conditioning being a very predominant factor, we cannot deny that it outright marks our inclination for things but that course takes up a distinctive action only when there happens to be a varying degree of interest from our own prolific interests of things, we take a liking and we try to emulate our liking into what we choose for ourselves, it is as simple as that. Period.

In the other scenario one cannot forget the dire consequences where there are pressures involved in fitting in the trending norms and cultures but regardless of that in an overall general view the mind is widely open to everything and it processes filters and accepts its own inclination of things/course of action
.
Well.... then is originality nonexistent?
I think it all depends on how far we are willing to go on finding out the originality of things and the originality of our lives. Maybe it is the journey towards finding out the originality that actually ends up giving meaning to our lives or more or less shaping our lives.
For example just envision a blank canvas and watch carefully how one stroke continue to align with the other and it goes on and on until a masterpiece is formed . The same goes on with our life; we are continually on the process of our own experimentation of things.

The French poet Aragon once said “by the time we learn to live it’s already too late”.
