EXISTENCE - THE STUDY OF HUMAN NATURE IN THE REALM OF SOCIAL STRUCTURE

Human beings have come a long way hopping from generation
to generation making derivative progress and similarly this progress will
continue to tread on as time passes.
In this process, we have confined ourselves and fitted
perfectly in the role of the changing scenario and whatever it demands which in
other words can also be known as the norms of the society.
Likewise, if we look at it from one school of thought,
humans are carnal animals proclaiming themselves at the top of the hierarchy. But
let a third party enter the game, perhaps someone from the other planet who is
all the more superior to humans, then a problem arises.
So, being on the top of the hierarchy as of now with the
ability to think and reason, we have the capacity to tame the carnal-ness amongst
us in every possible manner. Hence, we have so far been superior in competing
and controlling everything else but most importantly and quite ambivalently
ourselves in the process.
This taming, if we focus on can be frightening to think of
but at the same time it is also very essential in order to avoid chaos and
anarchy.
Every human being is born with an identity and develops
her/his respective sense of individuality and the experience of the social
structure around us make us who we are molding our behavior and thought process
in order to blend in perfectly and head towards the same direction where
everyone else is heading.
There are in some instances individuals who try to free
themselves from this pattern and deviate from the regular path. The voice in
their head is stronger than any average thinker and they develop their own
thought process free from the social conventions that the majority adheres to. It
is then that the challenge arises to the social structure as a 'genius' is
created but then again the nature of genius is questionable as how much of a
genius can a society really handle?
If it extends the given boundary then again 'taming' comes
to the solution but it might be the draconian taming now.
These genius individuals are usually give unpleasant names
and declared unfit to function in the society as they can be a probable threat,
a threat which is again comprehensible up to a certain extent but is also the
harsh reality which humans are trying to sedate in to silence.
